Senior Accountant (Real Estate)

What you will do

• Manage financial records, budgets, and forecasts for an assigned property portfolio.
• Prepare monthly reporting packages for institutional owners and asset managers.
• Maintain debt covenant reporting calendars and ensure accurate, timely submission.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and straight-line rent journal entries.
• Coordinate with property managers to promote effectiveness in operations reporting.
• Manage fixed asset listings, depreciation, and tenant upfit allowances using Excel and job costing software.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Accounting.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Strong experience with GAAP.
• High proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• 3 years of real estate and/or public accounting experience.
• Experience with MRI and/or Yardi accounting software.
• Experience with FAS asset software.
