What you will do

• Lead the regulatory compliance framework and ensure adherence to Irish and EU obligations.
• Act as the designated Pre-Approval Controlled Function (PCF-12) under the Central Bank of Ireland.
• Develop and maintain trust-based relationships with the Central Bank of Ireland.
• Implement operational efficiencies by deploying an automate-everything mindset, including AI solutions.
• Provide compliance advisory support to the Board and partner with Product and Engineering teams.
• Oversee the Compliance Monitoring Programme and manage new regulatory requirements like AMLR and MiCA.

Requirements

• Must be based in Ireland to fulfill the PCF-12 regulatory role.
• Significant senior compliance experience in a regulated crypto exchange, payments firm, or bank.
• Proven success in leveraging technology and automation to scale compliance programs.
• Experience managing relationships with regulators and handling VASP registrations.
• Executive presence with the ability to influence conduct and present to Boards of Directors.
• Deep knowledge of EU markets, financial rules, and risk management techniques.

Nice to have

• Passion for or experience in the crypto industry.
• Previous experience with MiFID II or Market Abuse Directive.
