Compliance Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Maintain the AML/BSA compliance program, including policies, procedures, and internal controls for U.S. payment products.
• Oversee transaction monitoring, alert reviews, investigations, and SAR filings.
• Manage sanctions/OFAC screening, PEP monitoring, and KYC case management.
• Act as an embedded compliance partner to Product and Engineering teams to review new features for regulatory risk.
• Manage state money transmitter licensing (MTL) compliance, including renewals and exam readiness.
• Communicate directly with state regulators, examiners, and banking partners.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in compliance, specifically within U.S. payments (BSA/AML, sanctions, or MTL).
• Direct experience at an MSB, fintech, bank, or crypto/digital asset company.
• Deep understanding of BSA/AML requirements, OFAC rules, and card network/ACH regulations.
• Experience managing relationships with regulators or examiners and supporting audits.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for representing compliance to external stakeholders.
• Must have the right to work in the country where you are based.
