Salary: 33.22 - 44.18 USD per hour

What you will do

• Monitor all plant systems continuously and take immediate corrective action in response to alarms.
• Execute plant shut-down and start-up procedures to meet generating requirements safely.
• Maintain operational logs and calculations to identify and report faulty system conditions.
• Provide guidance and direction to Crane, Auxiliary, and Back Plant Operators.
• Interpret blueprints, P&ID’s, and schematic specifications for plant equipment.
• Manage critical events and prioritize operational, safety, and environmental tasks during emergencies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must successfully complete the ASME QRO Provisional Licensing exam within the first year of employment.
• Strong leadership, motivational skills, and ability to remain alert during long periods of sitting.
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical capability to lift 50lbs, work at heights, and operate in confined spaces.
• Qualify to wear a full-face respirator and work in various weather conditions.
