What you will do

• Execute monthly accounting close activities and deliverables in NetSuite, ensuring compliance with ASC 606.
• Perform ongoing contract reviews of closed deals to determine appropriate revenue recognition.
• Draft and maintain technical accounting memos for judgmental revenue recognition positions.
• Assist in the design, data integration, and testing of NetSuite ARM and other system enhancements.
• Support SOX and internal control walkthroughs, testing, and documentation for the revenue cycle.
• Identify process improvements and drive automation efforts to increase efficiency.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of combined experience in revenue and/or public accounting.
• Strong working knowledge of ASC 606.
• Experience working in high-growth SaaS companies.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets.
• Must be able to work from the Oakland office 2 days per week.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• CPA License.
• Experience with NetSuite ARM, Salesforce, Rocketlane, Stripe, or SQL.
• Experience with ERP system implementations or mergers.
