Senior Manufacturing Solutions Engineer

Location: Somerville, Massachusetts; hybrid work environment with office attendance 3+ days per week. The role requires 25% travel within North America.

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year across US locations.

What you will do

• Partner with customers to understand operational challenges, goals, and success criteria, and support solution architecture for specific manufacturing processes.
• Develop, configure, and implement Tulip solutions with customers and partners.
• Deliver enterprise-level projects from kickoff through completion while ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes.
• Build relationships across customer organizations, from shop-floor personnel to C-suite executives.
• Provide technical customer support, diagnose issues, and drive resolution.
• Represent customer insights internally and contribute to product, engineering, process, playbook, and delivery-framework improvements.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations technology, or a related field, including demonstrated customer-facing project leadership.
• Experience with Operations Technology, including MES, ERP, or similar systems; system architecture and implementation experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with system and device integration in the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience leading Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives and identifying opportunities on a shop floor.
• Strong project management, organizational, written, verbal, and communication skills, including experience managing enterprise-level engagements.
• BS in Engineering or a similar field.
• Availability for 25% travel within North America.
