What you will do

• Own and define the category narrative, ensuring consistency across press, earnings calls, and policy conversations.
• Develop and maintain messaging frameworks for credit, financial experience, and consumer protection.
• Partner with Legal, Policy, and Product teams to align the narrative with product evolution and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and resolve consumer confusion to turn friction points into brand opportunities.
• Monitor the media and competitive landscape to identify narrative risks and opportunities.
• Adapt the forward-looking narrative for global markets, ensuring cultural sensitivity and consistency.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in narrative strategy, communications, policy, or financial services.
• Proven track record of shaping complex stories for diverse audiences.
• Experience navigating regulated communication environments (IR, policy, legal).
• Strong editorial instincts and ability to write under intense press and regulatory scrutiny.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and align divergent interests.
• Must be based in the USA.
