Location: Hybrid (Remote Mondays & Fridays) in Fairfax, VA

What you will do

• Analyze solicitation requirements to create outlines, compliance matrices, and schedules.
• Write and edit technical, management, staffing, and past performance sections.
• Coordinate with Business Development, Capture, and SMEs to develop compelling content.
• Manage the proposal process from kickoff and color reviews to final submission.
• Maintain and update proposal templates and past performance libraries.
• Develop responses for Federal RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and White Papers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, English, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Federal proposal development, proposal writing, or technical writing.
• Must be based in or able to work in Fairfax, VA (Hybrid schedule).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Shipley proposal methodology.
• Background supporting DoD or Civilian Federal agencies.
• Familiarity with IDIQs, GWACs, and Federal contract vehicles.
• Experience with compliance matrices and color team reviews.
