What you will do

• Lead and oversee managed payroll services to ensure consistent, high-quality client delivery.
• Direct, mentor, and develop Payroll Client Managers and payroll team members.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for complex payroll issues, client concerns, and risk management.
• Ensure payrolls are processed accurately and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Oversee quarterly and year-end payroll activities, including tax filings and W-2 processing.
• Drive payroll process improvements, standardization initiatives, and operational efficiencies.

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of progressive payroll experience.
• 3-5+ years of leadership experience managing payroll teams or managed services.
• Advanced knowledge of payroll regulations, tax requirements, and compliance standards.
• Strong experience with payroll systems, HCM platforms, and HRIS technology.
• Demonstrated success leading multiple consultants and client-facing teams.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid environment in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Accounting.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification.
