Chargeback Analyst (Fintech)

What you will do

• Process and maintain chargebacks, retrieval requests, and exception transactions.
• Verify and post financial transactions, including funds received and disbursed.
• Compile and review documentation related to chargeback and retrieval cycles.
• Research customer account inquiries to determine appropriate resolutions.
• Resolve financial disputes in accordance with cardholder and credit card association guidelines.
• Partner with internal teams to support operational excellence.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in customer service, financial operations, or data analysis.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles or financial transactions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
