What you will do

• Analyze daily chargebacks, identify patterns, and escalate issues requiring investigation.
• Communicate with merchants to collect documentation and information for chargeback responses or declines.
• Monitor chargeback flows across card scheme platforms and ensure compliance with regulations and timelines.
• Track open cases and follow up with merchants and internal stakeholders to meet resolution SLAs.
• Monitor scheme regulation updates and maintain compliant operational processes.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in payments operations, preferably in a high-volume environment.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and comfort working with scheme regulations.
• Understanding of payment flows and financial concepts, including settlement, refunds, chargebacks, and fees.
• Exposure to banking or payments operations, especially back-office, dispute resolution, or chargeback processes.
• Clear communication skills and ownership of issue tracking and stakeholder follow-ups.
• Advanced working proficiency in English required.

• Internship or entry-level experience in fintech, payment service providers, or banking operations.
