Collectives Dealer

Location: Hybrid working, with at least 50% of working time per month spent in the office; new starters initially work full-time from the office.

What you will do

• Monitor STP dealing channels and manually place or exception-handle collective investment scheme trades.
• Contract fund trades accurately within fund cut-off times, service levels, and agreed SLAs.
• Process trade amendments, private placements, and FX transactions supporting currency fund trading.
• Investigate dealing queries, reconciliation breaks, and operational discrepancies through to resolution.
• Coordinate with fund providers, transfer agents, custodians, Clearstream, Aegon, EMX, Calastone, and internal teams.
• Support fund setup, pricing, static data, settlement, system testing, process improvements, and operational change.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a front-office, middle-office, or similar investment operations environment.
• Experience processing or dealing in Collective Investment Schemes and a good understanding of the associated trade lifecycle.
• Experience working to fund cut-off times, operational deadlines, and service levels.
• Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Good Excel skills for analysing and interpreting operational data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage competing priorities accurately.

Nice to have

• Experience with custody clients, fund providers, transfer agents, or dealing counterparties.
• Exposure to STP dealing, trade contracting, reconciliations, exception management, or systems testing.
