Location: Must be based in Austin, TX (Hybrid: 2-3 days in office per week).

Salary: $135,000 – $170,000 USD

What you will do

• Monitor account health, product adoption, and utilization to identify expansion opportunities and mitigate churn risks.
• Build strong relationships with technical stakeholders to understand their analytics needs and use cases.
• Educate customers on new features and existing product capabilities to maximize the value of dbt Cloud.
• Collaborate with Sales Directors and Solutions Architects to provide strategic input on the customer lifecycle.
• Act as the voice of the customer in internal product discussions and contribute to team processes.
• Create external-facing content including blog posts, tutorials, and live event presentations.

Requirements

• Must be based in Austin, TX and willing to work from the office 2-3 days per week.
• 2+ years of experience in a post-sales role such as Technical Account Manager or Customer Solutions Engineer.
• Solid technical background in modern data warehousing architectures and the analytics stack.
• Strong SQL proficiency and ability to present complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
• Ability to operate in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel for internal and external events.

Nice to have

• dbt certification or prior dbt experience.
• Basic python competency and advanced SQL knowledge.
• Experience managing data infrastructure or working with APIs.
