Partner Solutions Architect

Location: Remote in the United States, including Michigan, or hybrid depending on location; hybrid work requires two days in the office each week. Approximately 30% international travel is expected.

What you will do

• Own global technical alliance plans for Snowflake and Databricks in partnership with alliance, product, sales, and field leadership.
• Develop joint technical narratives, reference architectures, integration patterns, capability messaging, and customer value stories.
• Create reusable collateral, playbooks, and enablement assets for partner solutions architects and partner teams.
• Track integration states, gaps, and opportunities across ingestion, transformation, semantic layers, catalogs, metadata, open table formats, and agent and MCP interfaces.
• Act as the primary technical counterpart to Snowflake and Databricks partner engineering and product teams, maintaining regular technical cadences.
• Lead technical participation at Snowflake Summit and Databricks Data + AI Summit, including labs, sessions, demos, and team readiness.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in solutions architecture, sales engineering, partner engineering, technical product management, developer relations, or another customer-facing technical role in data and analytics.
• Fluency across the modern data stack, including ingestion, transformation, orchestration, warehouses, lakehouses, open table formats, semantic layers, catalogs, BI, and agent and MCP technologies.
• Hands-on knowledge of Snowflake and/or Databricks, with strong SQL and data modeling fundamentals.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills for workshops, hands-on labs, technical sessions, and large partner audiences.
• Ability to drive outcomes in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with multiple stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience owning a technical alliance and shaping partner products and integrations.
• Experience with partner-facing APIs, SDKs, drivers, or integration certification programs.
• Background in product management or technical product marketing alongside field engineering.
• Familiarity with cloud marketplace motions and co-sell programs.
