Software Engineer III, Content AI (NLP/ASR)

Location: Poland

Base salary range: 212,500–250,000 PLN annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and monitor scalable microservices for search, voice, and subtitle features.
• Build and maintain business-critical APIs and services with high availability, low latency, security, and scalability.
• Optimize distributed systems using data modeling, query optimization, caching, profiling, tracing, and load testing.
• Implement reusable libraries and engineering practices including feature toggles, CI/CD, test automation, logging, and monitoring.
• Participate in sprint planning, stakeholder updates, on-call rotations, and production incident response.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, engineering leads, and Technical Program Managers.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience building backend cloud application systems.
• Experience with Kotlin, Python, or similar languages and backend frameworks such as Spring Boot or Bottle/Gunicorn.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, Elasticsearch, caching systems, REST, gRPC, or GraphQL.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, GitHub Actions or Jenkins, and observability tools such as Datadog.
• Understanding of API design, security, performance optimization, distributed-system troubleshooting, and production support.

Nice to have

• Experience building personal voice assistants or chatbots.
• Experience building or personalizing search and discovery platforms.
• Experience with automatic speech recognition.
