Location: Remote (Must be based in the US or Canada; residents of Quebec are not eligible)
Salary: $174,986 - $209,983

What you will do
- Design and implement core backend services for context ingestion, indexing, and retrieval orchestration.
- Develop a scalable multi-tenant SaaS architecture including tenant isolation, usage tracking, and audit logs.
- Build APIs and interfaces for AI agents, MCP tools, and internal applications to retrieve provenance and confidence signals.
- Collaborate across product and infrastructure teams to balance rapid prototyping with long-term production reliability.
- Instrument services with metrics, logs, and traces to improve system observability and reliability.
- Shape the technical direction regarding storage choices, API contracts, and deployment patterns.
Requirements
- Must be based in the US or Canada (excluding Quebec)
- Proven experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and building GenAI-powered applications.
- Strong track record of delivering production-grade software used by active users.
- Experience working in cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Proficiency in using observability tools for system troubleshooting.
Nice to have
- Experience with agent frameworks or multi-agent workflows.
- Background as a data analyst or experience with data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, Looker, or Tableau.
- Experience building data engineering tools.
