What you will do

• Develop mechanical designs for circuit packs and optical plugs with high-density and thermal constraints.
• Create and maintain mechanical part/assembly designs and engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, and operations teams to meet project timelines.
• Present technical design reviews to ensure alignment with architecture and risk identification.
• Apply DFMA methodologies to improve manufacturability and assembly.
• Evaluate prototypes and perform root cause analysis on failed components.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of mechanical engineering design experience in telecom, datacom, or electro-optics.
• Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Creo Parametric.
• Experience with plastic components (injection moulding) and metal components (sheet metal, machined, die cast).
• Strong project management skills applied to engineering development.
• Attention to detail in engineering design and documentation.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
