What you will do

• Assemble, integrate, and verify mechanical and electromechanical systems, including gas handling racks, manifolds, and vacuum hardware.
• Execute precision tasks such as cutting, bending, and routing tubing, fittings, and sensors.
• Perform critical mechanical validation, including pressure, vacuum, and helium leak testing.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Supply Chain to support prototype builds and New Product Introductions (NPI).
• Design and fabricate jigs and fixtures to improve manufacturing efficiency and repeatability.
• Maintain accurate production, test, and traceability records using ERP systems.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience assembling complex mechanical or electromechanical systems in manufacturing.
• Proven experience with tubing, fittings, gas, vacuum, or pressure systems.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.
• Experience with soldering, crimping, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Physical ability to stand/sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

• Experience with cryogenic systems or high-vacuum pump maintenance.
• Experience with NetSuite and Jira.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites.
