What you will do

• Lead critical issues analyses and provide technical strategy for species-related risks and permitting pathways.
• Direct formal and informal ESA Section 7 consultations for federal and non-federal projects.
• Provide senior-level review for BAs, HCPs, EISs, and other complex environmental documentation.
• Mentor and coach mid-level T&E staff to advance team technical capabilities.
• Ensure project compliance with BGEPA, MBTA, and other relevant federal and state regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers and external clients to deliver technically sound environmental solutions.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Bachelor's or graduate degree in biology, ecology, or a related field.
• 8-10+ years of experience as a Lead T&E SME, including 3-5+ years in consulting.
• Extensive experience leading ESA Section 7 consultations for complex capital projects.
• Proven ability to conduct due diligence and effects analyses for ESA compliance.
• Strong leadership skills to manage technical strategy and mentor junior staff.
