What you will do

• Build shared and client-specific production, non-production, and disaster recovery environments.
• Perform server and application installations, configurations, and deployments.
• Configure IIS (create websites) and troubleshoot IIS-related issues.
• Handle SQL Server tasks including database backup/restore, user permissions, and script deployments.
• Execute server/application migrations and OS upgrades.
• Triage, analyze, and coordinate issues for applications hosted on shared or client premises; maintain technical documentation and a service catalog.

Requirements

• 5 years of IT experience and a Computer Software or Computer Engineering university degree.
• Windows Server 2012-2019 (installation, configuration, management, and IIS role).
• Knowledge of scripting and automation (PowerShell, VBScript, CMD, SQL, etc.).
• Experience with domain environments (Active Directory or LDAP).
• Familiarity with N-tier applications (IIS web frontend, .NET services, SQL Server backend).
• Familiarity with networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN) and strong troubleshooting skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Octopus Deploy or Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Knowledge of Azure services (Serverless, Azure DB, Azure Container Instance), Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Knowledge of AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Knowledge of Dynamics CRM and GP (asset).
