What you will do

• Provide remote technical support for hardware, peripherals, software, and connectivity issues across customer sites and datacenters.
• Configure and maintain servers, workstations, POS equipment, scanners, and RF devices.
• Analyze and resolve network failures involving VPNs, firewalls, routing, and ISP connectivity.
• Collaborate with vendors, ISPs, and internal teams to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Document troubleshooting activities and service actions within support systems.
• Perform time-and-materials consulting services for infrastructure and security upgrades.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in customer-facing hardware or infrastructure support, ideally in retail or automotive sectors.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting POS systems, servers, and network peripherals in a remote environment.
• Working knowledge of Windows OS, Linux fundamentals, and client/server technologies.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, and routing.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences.
