Salary: CAD $50,000–$55,000

A certified B Corporation operating a marketplace app that connects businesses with surplus food to consumers to fight global food waste.

What you will do

  • Acquire new partners such as restaurants, cafes, and bakeries via cold calling, email, and in-person visits.
  • Introduce potential partners to the platform and provide training on app usage.
  • Research the market to identify decision-makers and generate interest in the service.
  • Advise partners on the best possible solutions for reducing food waste.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to share best practices and achieve individual and company targets.

Requirements

  • Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume cold calling environment.
  • Growth mindset and willingness to iterate within the Canadian market.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to support the hybrid work model.

Nice to have

  • Experience in outbound sales, specifically pitching and closing opportunities over the phone and in person.
  • Proven resilience and motivation to achieve high call volumes.
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline based on data insights.
  • Additional language skills.
