A certified B Corporation operating a marketplace app that connects businesses with surplus food to consumers to fight global food waste.
What you will do
- Acquire new partners such as restaurants, cafes, and bakeries via cold calling, email, and in-person visits.
- Introduce potential partners to the platform and provide training on app usage.
- Research the market to identify decision-makers and generate interest in the service.
- Advise partners on the best possible solutions for reducing food waste.
- Collaborate with the sales team to share best practices and achieve individual and company targets.
Requirements
- Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume cold calling environment.
- Growth mindset and willingness to iterate within the Canadian market.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must be based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to support the hybrid work model.
Nice to have
- Experience in outbound sales, specifically pitching and closing opportunities over the phone and in person.
- Proven resilience and motivation to achieve high call volumes.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline based on data insights.
- Additional language skills.

Hiring process
