Product Manager (AI)

Location: Must be based in Boston or San Francisco (onsite 5 days a week). Applicants must be eligible to work in the US.

Salary: $250,000 – $330,000 base

What you will do

• Own evaluation frameworks and quality metrics for the foundational music model.
• Translate creator needs and user insights into actionable research problems for the ML team.
• Partner with ML engineers, data scientists, and user-facing PMs to prioritize model capabilities.
• Drive the research roadmap by balancing user insight, data, and business context.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing to launch model improvements and new features.
• Conduct technical experiments and analyze model behavior alongside researchers.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product management experience, specifically with highly technical products.
• Proven experience partnering with ML researchers, model training teams, or AI evaluation systems.
• Strong technical foundation in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physics.
• Deep technical intuition for complex machine learning concepts.
• Ability to bring structure to ambiguous, research-driven problems.
• Must be eligible to work in the US and work from the office 5 days a week.

Nice to have

• Experience at a frontier AI lab or foundation model team.
• Background in designing AI evaluation frameworks or benchmarks.
• Experience with large-scale datasets and annotation pipelines.
