What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of Financial Accountants, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.
• Own month-end and year-end financial close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to local and Group Finance teams.
• Provide technical expertise on IFRS, UK GAAP (FRS102), and Group accounting policies.
• Enhance the financial control framework to identify and mitigate reporting and compliance risks.
• Lead all aspects of the external audit process and oversee the submission of statutory financial statements.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Sales, and Marketing teams to provide accounting guidance for commercial decisions.

Requirements

• Fully qualified ACA or ACCA accountant.
• Proven post-qualification experience in external audit, financial reporting, or financial accounting roles.
• Experience managing, coaching, and developing finance professionals.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP (FRS102).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Must be based in London, UK

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP.
• Experience using Caseware or other statutory accounts and audit-support software.
• Proficiency in automation and data tools such as Power Query, Power BI, or Python.
• Experience implementing finance transformation initiatives or control enhancements.
