What you will do

• Prepare and review statutory financial statements for global entities across UK, EMEA, and APAC.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and manage audit documentation.
• Research and document accounting treatments for complex transactions including revenue recognition and financial instruments.
• Support the alignment of local entity financials with parent-company reporting requirements.
• Critique and improve internal controls and month-end close processes to minimize accounting risk.

Requirements

• Professional Qualification: Newly qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent).
• Strong background in external audit, including managing audit files and risk assessments.
• Hands-on understanding of IFRS and FRS 101 frameworks.
• Ability to adapt to varying regulatory environments across international regions.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to draw clear, auditable technical conclusions.

Nice to have

• Practical exposure to or working knowledge of US GAAP.
• Experience auditing or working within global financial services or fintech environments.
