Salary: €7,080–€7,900 gross monthly + ~15% annual bonus + $50,000 RSUs

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery for one or more agile engineering teams, ensuring high-quality software alignment with KPIs.
• Define and drive the technical roadmap for the domain in collaboration with product managers and engineering leaders.
• Design and enforce engineering best practices, including coding standards, testing strategies, and observability.
• Lead the full employee lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, performance management, and promotions.
• Coach and develop engineers and technical leads through structured feedback and 1:1s.
• Influence technical architecture for scalability and reliability through design reviews and architectural guidance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams in the travel industry focusing on supplier integrations (Direct APIs, GDS, NDC).
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in a leadership/management role.
• Strong technical fundamentals in distributed systems, API design, and backend architecture.
• Proven track record in people management and developing engineering talent across multiple levels.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
