What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery for agile engineering teams, ensuring alignment with product and business KPIs.
• Define and drive the technical roadmap for the team's domain in collaboration with product managers.
• Establish and enforce engineering best practices, including coding standards, testing, and observability.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and promotions.
• Coach and develop engineers, from juniors to senior leads, through regular 1:1s and career guidance.
• Guide technical architecture for scalability and reliability through design reviews.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams in the travel industry (supplier integrations, GDS, NDC).
• 10+ years of total software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership/management role.
• Strong technical foundations in distributed systems, API design, and backend architecture.
• Proven track record in organizational transformation and agile methodology optimization.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
