What you will do

• Build and lead a high-performing engineering organization across multiple teams.
• Mentor and coach engineering managers and leads to foster professional growth.
• Collaborate with architecture teams to drive technical vision and future-state design.
• Partner with product teams to execute roadmaps and achieve shared business goals.
• Ensure platform reliability, security, and scalability by proactively managing risks.
• Manage engineering budgets, resources, and KPIs to drive data-informed improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior or strategic engineering leadership role.
• 10+ years of total experience in software engineering.
• Professional working proficiency in both Swedish and English.
• Proven ability to lead high-load, highly available transactional systems.
• Experience in defining OKRs, KPIs, and using data to drive performance.
• Strong background in agile methodologies and product development practices.

Nice to have

• Relevant experience in the gaming industry.
• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies for personalization.
• Experience managing geographically distributed teams.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
