What you will do

  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts in the insurance sector across Germany, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities within existing accounts to drive cross-selling and upselling.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process for data and software solutions, from proposal to deal closure.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM systems and digital research tools.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to anticipate client needs and inform account strategy.
  • Collaborate with marketing, consulting, and delivery teams to align strategic sales initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in account management or sales, preferably in data and software within the DACH market.
  • Proven track record of growing revenues and managing complex accounts.
  • Fluency in German and English is required for stakeholder influence.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the region.

Nice to have

  • Experience with sales methodologies such as Miller Heiman, Challenger, or SPIN.
  • Background in SaaS and Cloud solution sales.
