What you will do

• Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for the core transaction platform.
• Lead cross-functional engineering teams across payment connectivity, orchestration, and risk infrastructure.
• Define platform capabilities to improve payment execution, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Optimize transaction lifecycle management including authorization, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Partner with engineering leaders to establish resilient architectures and observability practices.
• Translate complex technical challenges into data-driven product decisions.

Requirements

• Must be based in Romania.
• Strong technical background in cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and APIs.
• Experience with Kotlin, Go, gRPC, and scalable backend systems.
• Proven experience building platform products or complex distributed systems.
• Ability to lead technical product initiatives with significant engineering complexity.
• Familiarity with payment infrastructure, PCI environments, or fraud prevention is highly desirable.
