What you will do

  • Design, plan, and manage end-to-end data migration processes.
  • Identify, define, collate, document, and communicate data migration requirements with subject matter experts and project teams.
  • Analyze source system data to create and validate source-to-target data mappings.
  • Manage migration risks and monitor potential impacts as part of the migration plan.
  • Perform migration and testing for both static data and transaction data between core systems.
  • Develop best practices, processes, and standards for data migration activities.

Requirements

  • Location/Right to work: Must have pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK (documentary evidence required).
  • Good understanding of Extract Transform Load (ETL) principles and techniques.
  • Ability to write SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL).
  • Experience parsing and generating XML, CSV, or JSON data.
  • Ability to write utilities to implement ETL tasks.
  • Experience consuming 3rd-party APIs.
