What you will do

• Design, develop, and support robust, scalable software solutions within a cross-disciplinary delivery squad.
• Collaborate with Technical Leads on software architecture and participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to the definition and improvement of development processes and automated testing suites.
• Participate in Agile SCRUM ceremonies and contribute to refining delivery processes.
• Mentor less experienced colleagues and engage in cross-squad collaboration to solve technical challenges.
• Manage technical debt and participate in third-line application support.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United Kingdom
• Significant experience in modern Java (17+), Spring Framework, and Gradle or Maven.
• Experience with AWS and its managed services portfolio.
• Proficiency in developing and delivering RESTful APIs.
• Experience designing for RDBMS such as Postgres, MySQL, or SQLServer.
• Strong focus on automation throughout the engineering lifecycle.

Nice to have

• Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Experience with jOOQ.
• Experience in building and designing scalable, stateless API backends.
