TL;DR

Director of Accounts (Automotive): Managing strategic relationships with major car rental clients to ensure service satisfaction and account growth with an accent on executive alignment and account strategy. Focus on scaling Customer Success organizations, driving expansion revenue, and leading cross-functional delivery of AI-powered vehicle inspection solutions.

Location: Teaneck, NJ (Must be able to travel up to 60% of the time to customer locations)

Salary: $120,000 – $170,000

What you will do

  • Serve as the primary executive point of contact for car rental clients, building trusted relationships with decision-makers.
  • Define and execute overall account strategies, including engagement plans and value roadmaps.
  • Liaise between clients and internal teams to ensure high-quality delivery of solutions and commitments.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for additional deployments and expansion revenue.
  • Monitor customer health using dashboards and CRM reporting to influence targets and strategies.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly business reviews to maximize client value.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience managing major Enterprise Accounts, preferably within the car rental industry.
  • 5+ years of experience leading managers or Team Leads in a high-growth environment.
  • Proven track record of scaling Customer Success organizations and driving measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging CRM reporting and customer health metrics.
  • Exceptional executive communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time to various customer locations.

  • In-depth understanding of the Automotive, Dealership, Fleet Management, and Logistics landscapes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) or Google Docs.
