What you will do
- Research and interpret Australian market developments to support commercial and product activities.
- Monitor trends and competitor activity to inform product positioning and commercial decision-making.
- Build business cases and project economics using IRR models to evaluate new products and market opportunities.
- Conduct customer segmentation and market sizing to prioritize growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with Sales and Business Development teams to communicate emerging commercial opportunities.
- Develop analytical tools and reporting frameworks for market intelligence.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in energy markets, renewable energy, infrastructure, advisory, or economics.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex commercial, technical, or regulatory information.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modelling and IRR analysis.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills for stakeholder communication.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams with high attention to detail.
- Must be based in Sydney, Australia
Nice to have
- Capability in Python, AI, automation, or data analytics tools.
- Experience in customer segmentation, competitor analysis, or go-to-market initiatives.
- Deep understanding of Australia's energy transition and the role of energy storage.
