What you will do

• Lead the Core Networks domain strategy and multi-year roadmap, focusing on the transition to cloud-native architecture.
• Define engineering standards, reference architectures, and configuration practices for Core platforms.
• Drive Core modernization efforts and reduce technical debt through scalable and automation-enabled solutions.
• Coordinate platform changes and releases in close collaboration with Network Operations.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in mobile and fixed Core Networks, including EPC, 5G Core, IMS, policy, and subscriber data platforms.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native and virtualized architectures, specifically containers, Kubernetes, and NFV.
• Proven senior leadership experience managing large-scale Core modernization and platform lifecycle programs.
• Experience leading in complex network engineering environments with the ability to act as a build authority.
• Commercial competence in managing investment cases and cost optimization.
• Ability to engage with executive leadership, regulators, and external partners.
