What you will do

• Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary engineering team to deliver complex ATM system projects using systems engineering processes.
• Develop and maintain the project Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP).
• Manage resource planning and budgeting to ensure all project engineering outcomes are met with appropriate competence.
• Liaise with customers to manage technical scope, risks, and schedules while escalating issues as appropriate.
• Establish and maintain configuration baselines in accordance with the ATM Programme Configuration Management Plan.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality management systems, and non-discrimination legislation.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering or computer science with suitable recent experience.
• Significant experience applying systems engineering principles specifically within the ATM domain.
• Proficient knowledge of ATM systems and their integration.
• Awareness of operational safety, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), and Human Factors.
• Competent knowledge of the Australian government’s Information Security Manual (ISM).
• Must hold or be able to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance (preferably baseline level).

Nice to have

• Operational or engineering experience in the Air Traffic Management domain.
• Eligibility for chartered engineering status and state engineering registration in Queensland or Victoria.
