Software Engineer (React Native)

What you will do

• Implement, debug, and maintain application framework features across JavaScript/TypeScript and native layers.
• Build developer-facing APIs, native modules, reusable framework components, and integration paths for application teams.
• Contribute to C++ framework code and improve integration with React Native and native platform services.
• Improve SDK packaging, templates, sample applications, documentation, and integration guides.
• Debug issues across JavaScript, native code, build systems, runtimes, and CI while maintaining backward compatibility and versioning.
• Add tests and validation coverage, participate in code reviews and technical design discussions, and collaborate with engineering, product, UI, and application teams.

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience building libraries, SDKs, frameworks, developer tooling, native modules, or reusable engineering platforms.
• Strong JavaScript or TypeScript experience and solid C++ fundamentals, including memory ownership, API boundaries, build/debug workflows, and performance-aware implementation.
• Ability to debug across JavaScript, native platform code, build systems, runtime logs, and CI output.
• Strong API design judgment, compatibility and versioning awareness, clear technical documentation, and comfort working in a large codebase.

Nice to have

• React Native experience and familiarity with Apple platforms such as iOS or macOS.
• Experience with cross-platform SDKs or frameworks across mobile, desktop, Linux, or game console platforms.
• Familiarity with CMake, Conan, CocoaPods, Gradle, Maven, npm, Jenkins, or similar build and distribution systems.
• Experience with native UI components, accessibility, performance instrumentation, test harnesses, or translating framework integration issues into reusable improvements.
