What you will do

• Design and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript.
• Lead technical discovery, solution design, and implementation planning for new features.
• Integrate mobile applications with backend services and REST/GraphQL APIs to deliver seamless customer journeys.
• Drive engineering excellence through architecture reviews, code reviews, and automated testing.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, observability, and state management.
• Mentor other engineers and actively contribute to engineering communities of practice.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise-scale mobile applications with React Native and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, design patterns, and scalable engineering practices.
• Experience with state management patterns (Redux, MobX) and styling solutions (StyleSheet, Styled Components, Unistyles).
• Hands-on experience integrating applications with REST APIs and/or GraphQL.
• Practical experience with automated testing frameworks including Jest, Detox, and Testing Library.
• Must have existing right to work in the UK (unable to provide employment sponsorship).

Nice to have

• Experience developing native mobile applications using Swift (iOS) and/or Kotlin (Android).
• Experience with the React Native New Architecture (Fabric, TurboModules, JSI).
• Experience publishing and maintaining applications on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Experience working within highly regulated industries such as financial services.
