Software Engineer (React Native)

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and improve mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript.
• Deliver investment and trading features in collaboration with engineers, product managers, and designers.
• Integrate mobile applications with backend services and REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Write secure, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews and engineering practices.
• Develop automated tests, support CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot existing applications, improve performance and reliability, and document technical decisions.

Requirements

• Commercial experience developing production mobile applications with React Native and TypeScript.
• Good understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, testing practices, and modern React Native architecture.
• Experience with REST APIs and/or GraphQL, state management approaches such as Redux or MobX, and automated testing frameworks including Jest, Detox, or Testing Library.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with experience improving large or evolving applications.
• Understanding of CI/CD and modern software delivery practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional Agile teams and commitment to secure, maintainable code.

Nice to have

• Experience with React for web applications.
• Experience with the React Native New Architecture, including Fabric, TurboModules, and JSI.
• Native mobile development experience with Swift and/or Kotlin.
• Experience publishing applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Experience with mobile analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, or regulated financial services.
