What you will do

• Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver new investment features.
• Integrate mobile applications with REST and GraphQL APIs for seamless user experiences.
• Write clean, secure, and well-tested code while participating in code reviews.
• Implement automated tests using frameworks such as Jest and Detox.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and technical documentation to ensure efficient delivery.

Requirements

• Commercial experience developing applications with React Native and TypeScript.
• Experience building and maintaining mobile applications in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and testing practices.
• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and state management (Redux, MobX, or equivalent).
• Proficiency with automated testing frameworks like Jest, Detox, and Testing Library.
• Must have the right to work in the UK; the company is unable to provide sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with React for web applications.
• Knowledge of React Native New Architecture (Fabric, TurboModules, and JSI).
• Experience with native mobile development using Swift (iOS) or Kotlin (Android).
• Experience publishing and maintaining apps in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Background working in regulated industries, specifically financial services.
