TL;DR

Principal Growth Marketer (Fintech): Owning the marketing system for SMB customer activation with an accent on lifecycle strategy, in-app touchpoints, and conversion experimentation. Focus on building an AI-native marketing operating system and driving new customer acquisition through data-driven interventions.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Seattle, WA (Hybrid: 3+ days/week in-office)

Salary: $168,000–$210,000

What you will do

  • Own the roadmap, experiment backlog, and investment model for SMB customer activation.
  • Design and iterate activation programs across email, push, in-app, and paid retargeting channels.
  • Build an AI-native marketing operating system for hypothesis generation, content production, and performance reporting.
  • Manage the marketing stack, tooling selection, and budget to optimize infrastructure for rapid testing.
  • Partner with product managers to align marketing interventions with product-side conversion goals.
  • Analyze conversion data to derive actionable insights for product learning and development.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing, lifecycle marketing, or growth roles.
  • Proven track record of owning a conversion or activation metric end-to-end.
  • Fluency with in-app marketing tools such as Braze, Iterable, or Appcues.
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to build funnel analyses and QA conversion events.
  • Experience designing or operating AI-assisted workflows in a marketing context.
  • Must be able to work from the Seattle, WA office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

  • Background in engineering or product management.
  • Experience in fintech, payments, or two-sided marketplaces.
