What you will do

• Research and resolve complex collection issues and insurance reimbursement discrepancies.
• Audit billing information accuracy and monitor the operation of billing systems.
• Perform regular transactional reviews and reconciliations of outstanding items.
• Develop and implement internal policies and processes for the reimbursement program.
• Assist in training team members on reconciliation processes.
• Ensure full compliance with Privacy/HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley, and other legal requirements.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• 5+ years of experience in a medical collections environment.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong understanding of medical billing, insurance claim processing, and appeals.
• Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and accounting software (GP).
• Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST.

Nice to have

• Experience billing durable medical equipment.
• Knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience in diabetes or other disease management device/diagnostics.
