What you will do

  • Review and monitor patient credit accounts receivable to ensure accurate revenue cycle management.
  • Determine the root cause of credit balances and perform necessary account adjustments or write-offs.
  • Rebill claims and process patient balance refunds as required.
  • Document all discrepancies, rejections, and follow-up activities in the system.
  • Coordinate with customer service teams to communicate overpayment information to patients.
  • Track payment activity and report findings to the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States
  • High school diploma or Associate's degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
  • At least 2 years of experience in revenue cycle functions, medical claims processing, or healthcare financial services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of health insurance programs like Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care contracts is highly desired.
