What you will do

• Build and deploy physical and virtual servers for production and non-production environments.
• Perform break-fix and troubleshooting for server, network, and storage hardware.
• Support mission-critical hardware and data center infrastructure.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and Wiki pages.
• Provide reliable after-hours on-call support as part of a team rotation.
• Collaborate with a diverse team to ensure environment return-to-service.

Requirements

• At least five years of professional experience working onsite at a data center or in a System Engineer role.
• Must be based in or near Dallas, TX to support onsite data center operations.
• Proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience with HPE and Lenovo server hardware, including RAID configurations and chassis expansions.
• Ability to use scripting languages such as Powershell, BASH, or Python.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI tools such as Claude or Glean.
• Knowledge of Proxmox and XCP-NG.
• Experience with HPE Oneview and Lenovo Xclarity.
• Understanding of data center power, cabling, and cooling systems.
