What you will do

• Monitor and optimize mainframe architecture to maintain high performance and efficiency.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and analyze complex system interactions for mission-critical applications.
• Extract business logic from legacy systems to facilitate migration to cloud-based services.
• Refactor legacy code to enable seamless interaction with modern cloud and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with a global community of experts on mainframe modernization projects.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Mexico City.
• Solid experience in software engineering on complex projects.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or .NET with strong debugging skills.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, XML/JSON, and REST-based web services.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and messaging queues.
• Deep understanding of OOP and design patterns.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices.
