What you will do

• Partner with technical teams to coordinate remediation of findings from vulnerability management, penetration testing, and compliance assessments.
• Translate cybersecurity findings into actionable remediation plans with defined owners, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
• Monitor progress, remove roadblocks, and escalate risks that threaten remediation timelines or business objectives.
• Aggregate and report on cybersecurity risks and remediation progress to leadership to support decision-making.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders to facilitate remediation planning and drive timely risk treatment.
• Provide training, guidance, and mentoring to less experienced staff regarding risk management frameworks.

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship is required.
• Regular onsite work in Madison, WI is required.
• 6+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, IT governance, risk, compliance, or operations.
• 1+ years of experience with cybersecurity risk management.
• Demonstrated experience with security risk management and compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO, or HIPAA.
• Experience conducting risk assessments and facilitating executive-level risk discussions.

• Relevant certifications in cybersecurity, risk, audit, or project management.
• Experience with enterprise GRC platforms like ServiceNow or OneTrust.
