Application Support Specialist

Location: Must be based in Sparks, MD

Salary: $64,800–$88,000 Annual

What you will do

• Build, monitor, and troubleshoot system integrations including SFTP and REST APIs.
• Manage data exchanges between CRM, claims platforms, and enterprise data warehouses.
• Write and maintain SQL queries to validate data and perform root-cause analysis.
• Handle system administration tasks including user access management and configuration updates.
• Monitor scheduled jobs and data pipelines, responding to alerts and errors.
• Maintain technical documentation for data definitions, manuals, and workflows.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in integration or application support.
• Working knowledge of SQL including joins, filtering, and basic transformations.
• Experience with integration tools such as Boomi, MuleSoft, or Workato.
• Experience configuring and managing a Policy Administration System.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of API authentication concepts.
• Experience in insurance or regulated industries.
• Exposure to data warehouse concepts like ETL/ELT.
