What you will do

• Lead and manage the full legal function, including corporate governance, M&A, and strategic transactions across a global structure.
• Oversee global real estate legal matters, including acquisitions, development, portfolio transactions, and operational agreements.
• Own the end-to-end IP strategy, including patent prosecution and portfolio management globally.
• Advise product and engineering teams on technology development, software licensing, and data privacy compliance.
• Champion a technology-forward department by deploying AI-assisted workhirify.globals and agentic legal tools to scale operations.
• Manage the company's litigation docket, triage active matters, and direct outside litigation counsel.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership required.
• 10+ years of legal experience, with a foundation in Big Law and subsequent senior in-house leadership.
• Experience navigating complex, multi-entity structures in VC- or PE-backed, high-growth environments.
• Substantive expertise spanning real estate, technology, or complex commercial environments.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Miami, FL.
