What you will do

  • Oversee contract intake and management, including triage and assignment of projects to attorneys.
  • Maintain the corporate intellectual property portfolio, ensuring registration and curation of trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
  • Review, summarize, and expedite legal documents such as NDAs, customer agreements, and vendor contracts.
  • Integrate AI tools into daily legal projects and operational tasks to increase efficiency.
  • Coordinate corporate insurance policies and provide due diligence support for M&A transactions.
  • Research laws and regulations to assist in the compliance review of new products and features.

Requirements

  • 5-6 years of related paralegal experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certification from an ABA Accredited program or equivalent.
  • Experience with Contract/Matter Management Systems.
  • Proven experience maintaining trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
  • Required: Ability to develop and integrate AI into daily projects and tasks.
  • Location: Must be based in El Segundo, California.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the internet industry, software licensing, or healthcare.
  • Prior experience with compliance or litigation.
