Location: Atlanta, GA (hybrid: three days in the office, two days remotely)

Salary: $152,000 - $225,000 annually

What you will do

  • Develop and grow a profitable book of middle to large market-sized E&S Primary Casualty business in your underwriting territory.
  • Underwrite select new and renewal accounts in line with department standards, guidelines, and referral processes.
  • Build and manage a diverse and profitable portfolio, including pricing and risk selection standards aligned with strategic and financial targets.
  • Implement a regional growth plan and support brand awareness for hirify.global.
  • Cultivate relationships with appointed wholesale brokers and collaborate with Actuarial, Claims, Loss Control, Operations, Finance, and IT teams.
  • Monitor competitor strategies and the broader insurance marketplace.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant wholesale casualty underwriting experience; ability to support leadership in building a profitable portfolio.
  • Expertise in General Liability and Commercial Automobile underwriting.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business or related field; insurance designations are a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate risk and portfolio data.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, relationship-building, and coaching abilities.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
