What you will do
- Develop and optimize fraud risk strategies and policies using advanced analytical techniques.
- Lead the full cycle of risk policy work from identification and testing to production launch and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with data science, product, and engineering teams to drive customer segmentation and innovative risk strategies.
- Build subject matter expertise in money movement risks to balance mitigation with ecosystem growth.
- Evaluate and recommend third-party data providers to address identity and account takeover risks.
- Design and monitor experiments to explore new methodologies and estimate key risk metrics.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, or 2+ years with an MS/PhD.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools including SQL, Python, R, and Excel.
- Working knowledge of risk policy fundamentals for consumer loans and credit lines.
- Demonstrated experience in designing experiments and using data-driven insights to solve business problems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience in Fintech, Payments, NeoBanking, Crypto, or Money Movement sectors.
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hive and Hadoop.
